Folkestone defines the term
"Country Inn" In the mountains west of Asheville, North Carolina, outside
the quaint town of Bryson City, sits this beautiful ten guest room bed and breakfast for sale.
With a feeling that
evokes times past and amenities that speak to today’s
comfort, this inn is just a quarter mile from an entrance
to Great Smoky Mountains National Park, with hiking,
tubing, and more. The great outdoors is the draw to this
rural area. The Nantahala
Outdoor Center is just ten miles away. Other major
attractions are the Cherokee Indian reservation with its
state-of-the-art recreational facilities, and the Great
Smoky Mountains Railroad with its scenic historic train
rides. Bryson City, a small town nestled in the valley on
the banks of a small river that feeds into Fontana Lake,
has dining and shopping that entertain and please visitors
to the area. Easy
day trips to Asheville, Gatlinburg and to travel the Blue
Ridge Parkway provide adventures and wonderful
conversation as guests gather back at the Inn each

This Smoky Mountains inn sits on two- and- a- half
acres of land with wonderful views of the mountains and
surrounding countryside. The ten guest rooms all have
private baths and range in price from under $100.00 to
almost $160.00 per night, affording a range of options for
travelers who come to the area. There are spacious common
areas, as well as seating in each room. A game room and
large front porch and private balconies or decks
for many guest rooms add to the appeal. The dining room is
surrounded by large windows and is served from an
efficient commercial kitchen with most equipment being
less
than five years old. Dinner is served to guests by
reservation during season at the Inn.
Of particular note, the innkeeper’s quarters have a
spacious modern kitchen with maple cabinets and stainless
steel appliances, a comfortable living room with bay
window, a bedroom with large bathroom, and giant walk-in
closet. An upstairs attic room with bath adds a second
office or space as an extra bedroom for family and
friends. In short, there is ample space to retreat, be
private and comfortable while having easy access to the
business side of the inn.
